In 2012

I now have over 10 years' experience in VAT advisory and compliance. My first employer was BDO, where I started as a tax consultant in 2012, with a focus on VAT since 2014. I then worked for KPMG and RSM until 2021. After 9 years as a consultant, I felt it was time to put my knowledge into practice and started working as an in-house VAT specialist at Komatsu. As an in-house specialist, I got more involved with the ERP processes and set-up, as well as other matters such as customs, CBAM, eco-taxes,.... In 2025 I joined De btw-lijn and VATsquare, where I use my passion for VAT and my knowledge to assist clients with their VAT obligations.
